A relational
database is a collection of data items with pre-defined relationships between them. These items are organized as a set of tables with columns
and rows. Tables are used to hold information about the objects to be
represented in the database.
According to the given scenario, NO, RDBMS work with structured
data are RBMS cannot store unstructured like text music documents videos etc.
it does not matter if it's small of big data. RDBMS lakes in high velocity
because it designed for steady data retention rather that Rapid growth. If
RDBMS is used to handle and store big data it will turn out to be very
expensive. As a result the inability of relational database to handle big data
led to the emergence of new technologies. As big data increase in volume and
become more unstructured, relational database are giving way to other Big Data
Solution like noSQL relational database, the dominant Technology for storing
and managing data are not designed to handle big data
