Topic: Human Development Method

Scenario:

MR.Raheel Ahmed has recently joined a FMCG organization as marketing analysis. He is a greater resources of human resource development. He consider HRD as organizer learning experience to improve the job performance of this team members. He took certain development measures including on the job and off the job method to provide the development opportunity to the work force. Some of his HRD measures are as follows:

1.    He transferred Mr.Saad (Marketing Assistant) to sales department for 3 months.

2.    He nominated Ms. Nadia (Assistant Sales Manager) to attend workshop on “the power of Effective Communication “conducted by TCS.

3.    He assigned Mr. Hassan (Marketing Officer) to work under Ms.Uzma (Marketing Manager) till future order.

Question:-

1.    As an HR .Hassan, student identify human resource development method has been opted by Mr.Raheel Ahmed in case 1, 2 and 3. (6marks total, 2 marks of each identification).

2.    Defend your answer with solid reasoning in first 2 cases.  (2+2=4 marks).

Job Rotation:

A job technique in which employees are moved between two or more jobs in a planner manner. It involve improving employees to various position in organization in an effort to expend their skill, knowledge and ability.

A method of working in which staff members are systematically switched between two or more tasks. It entails advancing workers to various positions within a company in an effort to maximize their talent, expertise, and capacity.

2.   He nominated Ms. Nadia (Assistant Sales Manager) to attend workshop on “the power of Effective Communication “conducted by TCS.

Lectures and Seminars:

In Lectures and Seminars these offered opportunity for individual to acquire knowledge and development their conceptual and analytical ability. MS. Nadia joined work shop as (Assistant Sales Manager) to improving communication skill, gaining expert knowledge and networking with other and renewing motivation and confidence.

Individuals have the chance to learn new information and hone their conceptual and analytical skills through lectures and seminars. MS. Nadia joined the workplace as an Assistant Sales Manager in order to sharpen her communication skills, expand her knowledge in a specialized field, network with others, and rediscover her drive and self-assurance.

3.   He assigned Mr. Hassan (Marketing Officer) to work under Ms.Uzma (Marketing Manager) till future order.

Assistant to Position:

Employees with demonstrated potential are sometimes given the opportunity to work under a successful manager, often in different areas of organization. In doing so, these employees getting exposure to wide variety of management activities and are groomed for assuming the duties of next higher level.

Potentially strong workers are occasionally offered the chance to work under successful managers, frequently in several organizational departments.
